Connect the second monitor and make sure you are using the right driver for that monitor. Monitor 1 is set up in landscape and monitor 2 is set portrait mode for reading/code, etc.

Because my smaller princeton monitor seems to be the first screen (hence x screen 0), i guess the xorg.conf data thinks both monitors are part of it. Monitor 1 is set up in landscape and monitor 2 is set portrait mode for reading/code, etc. My son was playing with the computer and when i looked at the screen he somehow changed it to a landscape appearance rather than standard portrait. I want the cinema display in standard widescreen mode, but i want the dell to be in portrait mode.
